  • WHAT ARE THE INSURANCE TERMS?
Civil liability: In accordance with current legislation, the Organizers have taken out insurance with the AXA insurance company, covering the financial consequences of their civil liability and that of the entire organizing team of the event. Event and all participants. With regard to the civil liability of participants, the corresponding guarantee is limited to accidents which they could cause to third parties during the course of the Event. It only takes effect on the official race routes, at the place where bibs are collected and in the start and finish areas of the races, for the duration of the race, for participants who are regularly registered and in the race. Furthermore, this guarantee will complement other insurance from which participants could otherwise benefit. Proof can be provided to any participant who requests it. Individual accident: Participants are strongly advised to take out individual accident insurance covering their bodily injury as part of their participation in the Event, particularly if they are not licensed by the FFA, guaranteeing the payment of capital in case of bodily injury (death or permanent disability) due to an accident occurring on the course of the race whether or not he is responsible, whether or not there is a third party identified and/or responsible. It can be taken out in addition to or in the absence of insurance of the same type held in particular via a sports license (FFA license type for example). It is up to the licensee to check coverage with their federation for bodily injury incurred during their participation in this type of Event.
